Say YES to the potential of our youth,
say NO to inequality and economic downturn.

YES is a business-driven initiative which is breaking new ground by pioneering a partnership with government and labour, in collectively tackling a national plan to build economic pathways for black youth. You are empowered through this programme to contribute and to be a co-creator of a future that works. Given the scale and implications of South Africa’s youth unemployment situation, the country cannot afford to fail. YES needs your commitment and investment today. Together, with you, YES aims to create one million jobs for youth. In this process, your firm can gain one or two levels on your B-BBEE scorecard. There is deep value in our tech-driven youth behavioural content to nurture and motivate young people and business throughout the year. This technology assists you and our youth in succeeding in their first work experience.

YES is a not-for-profit organisation, our fee options are for ensuring a sustainable outcome for our youth, for business and for our country. The fees apply to large companies (R50M turnover), the benefits accrue to all business and youth across the expanse of our nation.

As a trusted YES creator of new youth work experiences, please ensure the following:
  • All YES youth must be registered via our site
  • Many youth will be placed in environments far from structured and well honed Corporate HR programmes. This, therefore, means that companies will need to be patient in their approach when dealing with youth who are new to the workplace
  • The phone and content ensure that no matter where youth are, they can get:
    • A baseline set of consistent resources
    • A portal to access 21st century resources
    • Some common quality goals and aspiration to be part of the YES family
    • Behavioural benefits
    • An understanding they’re all equal under YES
  • Youth data must be uploaded onto the YES site, this includes start dates for youth and reporting of churn
  • Youth must have phones to fully benefit from the programme, the fee and for a quality learning experience to be gained.
Employers/youth supervisors need to complete a simple survey 4 times per year
